About EweeK

Celebrate National Engineers Week with fellow UIUC students

EWEEK is a week-long celebration highlighting the contributions to society that engineers make.

Started in 1951 by the National Society of Professional Engineers, this particular week in February is observed by a plethora of professional and academic societies as well as corporations and government agencies.

For students here at Illinois, there are community and competitive events, guest speakers, and food. Register an account and log in to create 5- or 10-man teams to participate in the festivities and competitions. Awards, prizes, and bragging rights await!

This program is organized and run by members of Engineering Council, a student-run umbrella organization of Illinois' engineering societies. We spend the Fall semester putting together this week-long, themed event.

Our mission is to honor the ever creative and practical spirit of engineering. We aim to emphasize the importance of math, science, and teamwork toward transforming the impossible into probable.
